Meet Dr. Lauren Edwards DDS
A Family Affair
Returning to Abilene in 2015 was an easy choice for Dr. Edwards, not only because this is the town she knows and loves, but also because she would finally get to practice dentistry with her uncle, Dr. Gary Linn. Yes, it’s truly a “family practice” now.
Dr. Edwards regularly completes continuing education courses to further her training. Her areas of focus are endodontic therapy (root canals), pediatric dentistry, dental implant placement and restoration, and many other facets of dentistry. Nothing makes her happier than making you smile!

Outside the Practice
Dr. Edwards returned to Abilene with her husband, Jeffrey, who she married in 2008. They have three children, two sons and a daughter, who attend school at Wylie ISD, just as Dr. Edwards did. She enjoys spending time with her family, but also enjoys artistic hobbies. She plays the piano and paints, and also likes to write and read in her spare time.
Dr. Edwards also enjoys being outdoors, planting trees and working in the garden.
